Don Johnston is a highly motivated photographer with a unique eye & ability to capture his passion for action. He has earned a solid reputation for his motion photography that definitely captures the emotion of vehicles, the excitement of performance and today’s active lifestyle. Since birth Don has had a passion for motor sports and photography. That passion propelled him into a career that began with his education at The Center for Creative Studies He immediately began working in Automotive Photography upon graduation. Before long Don was shooting national ad campaigns for high profile clients like Cadillac, Toyota, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet, Volkswagen and Pontiac to name a few. Today his body of work has evolved to include location shots for Polaris snowmobiles, Kawasaki motorcycles and Jet Skis. Buell motorcycles and a variety of National ads for NASCAR, Indy, & 24 Hour Rolex. His career and passion continues today through his work and his own SCCA road racing. He is an avid snowmobile rider, snow boarder, water-skier and mountain biker. All of this has been the perfect meld of Don’s love of Photography, the outdoors and performance expertise.
